Dr. Khan opened Khan Dental Studio to practise the way he always wanted to: unhurried appointments, everything explained on screen, and no treatment recommended that he would not want for his own family.
He completes well over a hundred hours of continuing education every year — implant surgery, digital restorative and occlusion mostly — because he would rather solve a problem in his own chair than send you across town for it. He speaks English, Urdu and Spanish.

When are you open?
Friday 12:00pm to 7:00pm, Saturday 10:00am to 3:00pm and Sunday
10:00am to 3:00pm. Those hours are deliberate — most people
should not have to burn a vacation day to get a filling. Call or
email any time and we will reply on the next clinic day.
How much is a new patient visit?
Our new patient visit is $55 and covers a comprehensive exam with
Dr. Khan, a full set of low-dose digital X-rays and intraoral
photographs, plus a written treatment plan with your insurance
applied. Anything you go on to have done is quoted in writing
first — you decide in your own time.
Do you take my insurance?
We are in-network with Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife,
Guardian, United Concordia, United Healthcare, Humana and GEHA
Connection — and we happily file out-of-network claims for
everyone else. Bring your card to the first visit and our
treatment coordinator will verify your benefits before any work is
scheduled.
What if I do not have dental insurance?
The $55 new patient visit is the same price either way, so you can
see exactly where you stand before committing to anything. For
treatment after that, CareCredit and Sunbit offer 6, 12 and
24-month plans, several of them interest-free, with approval
decisions in the office in a few minutes.
Can you really do a crown in one appointment?
Yes. We scan the prepared tooth digitally, design the crown on
screen, mill it from a solid ceramic block in our lab room and
cement it the same visit — usually around two hours from
start to finish.
I have not been to a dentist in years. Will I get a lecture?
No. Roughly a third of our new patients have been away for five
years or more. We start where you are, deal with anything urgent
first, then build a phased plan you actually feel comfortable
saying yes to.
